Avatar Maker and Skin Editor Apps for Mobile

Design shirts, pants and complete character outfits on a phone, then export a correctly proportioned template. One featured creative app today, free on iPhone, iPad and Android.

Current featured creative app

We publish one creative app at the moment. When there are more, they will be listed here — we would rather say that than imply a catalogue we do not have.

Unofficial. PIXELVOID GAMES LTD is an independent developer. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Roblox Corporation, and this app is not a Roblox product. Trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Designing Shirts and Pants

A garment design has to land on the right region of a UV template, or it wraps around the character in the wrong place. That is the part most people get stuck on, and it is the part the editor handles: pick a garment type and it opens the matching template with the guide regions already marked.

From there you draw directly with brush and fill tools, drop in a pattern and recolour it, or start from a ready-made design. Layers keep every element editable, so moving a logo or swapping a colour does not mean redrawing the piece.

Building a Full Outfit

Individual garments are only half the job. The app lets you stack shirts, trousers, jackets and accessories into a complete look, then preview the result on a 3D character model before you commit to it — which catches the mismatches that are invisible on a flat template.

Finished looks are saved to a personal library with no cap on how many you keep, so an outfit can be revisited and reworked rather than rebuilt.

Starting From a Template

Several hundred ready-made designs ship with the app. They exist precisely so that a finished result does not require drawing from scratch: pick something close, recolour it, change the parts you care about, and export.

This is the fastest route for most people, and it is why the app does not assume any drawing skill.

Exporting and Uploading

Export produces a standard image file at the proportions the destination platform expects. The upload itself happens on that platform, through its own website or app, under your own account — we are not involved in it, and we cannot upload on your behalf.

That also means the platform's own terms, moderation rules and any upload fees apply. If an upload is rejected, it is almost always a size or moderation rule on their side; if the export itself looks wrong, that is ours and we want to hear about it.

Working Offline

The editor itself works without a connection, which matters if you design on a tablet away from wifi. Downloading new templates and a few optional features do need internet access.

Questions about our creative apps

What does an avatar clothes maker app actually do?
It gives you a correctly proportioned garment template, tools to draw or recolour on it, a 3D preview on a character model, and an export that produces a standard image file you can upload yourself.
Do I need drawing skills to use it?
No. Most people start from one of the several hundred included templates and recolour or adjust it. The template library exists so that a finished look does not require drawing from scratch.
Does it work on iPad and Android tablets?
Yes. It runs on iPhone and iPad through the App Store and on Android phones and tablets through Google Play. A larger screen is genuinely easier to draw on.
Is the app free?
It is free to download on both stores, with optional in-app purchases. A large set of templates and editor tools is available without paying.
Can I use the designs I create?
Yes — the designs are yours. The app exports standard image files that you upload through the destination platform's own channels, under your own account, subject to that platform's terms and moderation rules.
Is this an official app from the platform I design for?
No. It is an unofficial, independent tool from PIXELVOID GAMES LTD. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with the owners of any avatar platform.
