Privacy Policy

Before publishing — confirm these facts. This document is accurate for everything we could verify from the public store listings. The following need your own confirmation, and this box should be deleted once they are settled:
- The transfer mechanism for AppMetrica specifically. It is a Yandex product, and neither Russia nor several other possible processing locations has a UK or EU adequacy decision — so the transfer needs an IDTA or SCCs plus a documented transfer risk assessment. Confirm where it processes data and on what basis, or replace it: three of the four SDKs already cover attribution and analytics between them.
- Whether all four SDKs are live in every app, or whether the set differs per app. AppsFlyer and Adjust are competing attribution providers and running both doubles the identifier sharing; if only one is actually wired up in a given app, say so per app.
- Signed data processing agreements with all four processors, and a record of processing activities (UK GDPR Article 30). This policy asserts that DPAs exist.
- Your ICO registration number. A UK company processing personal data for these purposes normally has to pay the data protection fee and register — worth stating explicitly, and worth checking you are registered at all.
- Confirmation that this text has been reviewed by a qualified solicitor. It is drafted to standard practice but is not legal advice.
Who we are
PIXELVOID GAMES LTD (“Pixelvoid Games”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered address is PIXELVOID GAMES LTD (company no. 12472847), registered office Office 34a, Business Centre, 9 Lydden Road, London SW18 4LT, United Kingdom.
For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the EU GDPR, we are the data controller for personal data processed through our mobile applications and this website.
If you have any question about this policy or about how we handle your data, contact us at support@pixelvoidgames.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to this website (pixelvoidgames.com) and to all mobile applications published by Pixelvoid Games, namely: Tactic Shot: FPS Pixel Shooter, Skins & Avatars Clothes Maker, Nitro Rush: Car Racing Game, Sin Streets: Open World RPG.
It does not cover the third-party platforms our apps interoperate with. When you upload a design to a game platform, or download an app from the App Store or Google Play, that company processes your data under its own privacy policy.
Information we collect
On this website. This site is deliberately built as static HTML with no analytics, no advertising scripts, no cookies and no tracking pixels. We do not set cookies, and we do not build a profile of you. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for security and diagnostics; these are retained for a short period and are not used to identify or profile individuals.
In our apps. Depending on the app and on the permissions you grant, we or our service providers may process:
- Device and technical data — device model, operating system version, language, region, app version, and a resettable advertising or installation identifier. Used for compatibility, crash diagnosis and analytics.
- Usage data — which features and screens you use, session length and in-app events. Used to understand which features matter and where users get stuck.
- Crash and performance data — stack traces and device state at the moment of a crash.
- Content you create — designs, skins and clothing templates you make. These are stored on your device. We do not upload your designs to our servers unless you explicitly use a share or backup feature.
- Purchase records — a receipt confirming an in-app purchase or subscription is valid. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never receive or store your card number, bank details or full billing address.
- Support correspondence — if you email us, we process your email address and whatever you choose to tell us, to answer you.
We do not ask for, and do not want, your real name, postal address, phone number or precise location. Our apps do not require an account to function.
Why we process it, and our legal basis
Under the UK and EU GDPR we must have a lawful basis for each purpose:
- To provide the app (making features work, saving your designs, validating purchases) — necessary for performance of our contract with you.
- To keep the app working (crash reporting, security, fraud and abuse prevention) — our legitimate interests in providing a functioning, secure product.
- To improve the app (analytics on feature usage) — your consent where required by law, otherwise our legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time in your device settings.
- To show advertising, where an app is ad-supported — your consent. On iOS this is requested through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; on Android through an in-app consent dialogue where required.
- To answer support requests — necessary for performance of our contract, or our legitimate interest in supporting our users.
- To comply with legal obligations — for example tax records relating to purchases.
Advertising and tracking
Some of our apps are free and supported by advertising. Where that is the case:
- You will be asked for permission before any tracking for personalised advertising takes place. If you decline, you will still be able to use the app; you will simply see non-personalised ads.
- You can change your mind at any time. On iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android: Settings → Google → Ads.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising where you have not consented.
Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers who process it on our instructions, and only as far as needed. These fall into the following categories:
- App stores — Apple and Google, who distribute our apps and process all payments.
- Analytics providers — to understand aggregate feature usage.
- Crash reporting providers — to diagnose stability problems.
- Advertising networks — in ad-supported apps, subject to your consent.
- Cloud hosting and email providers — to run this website and answer your support email.
The specific providers we use. These are the only third-party software development kits embedded in our apps. Each processes data on our instructions under a data processing agreement:
- AppsFlyer — install attribution and marketing analytics. Privacy policy.
- Adjust — install attribution and marketing analytics. Privacy policy.
- Google Firebase — product analytics and crash reporting (Crashlytics). Privacy information.
- AppMetrica — product analytics and attribution. Privacy policy.
We embed no other SDKs. If that changes, this list changes with it.
Each app's store listing carries an Apple App Privacy label and a Google Data safety section stating exactly what that specific app collects. Those labels are app-specific and authoritative — please read the one for the app you use.
We may also disclose data if legally required to do so, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
International transfers
Our service providers are located outside the UK in whole or in part. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision where one exists, or otherwise on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with a transfer risk assessment and additional safeguards where appropriate.
You can see which countries each provider processes data in from the privacy policies linked in the section above. If you want to know the specific transfer mechanism we rely on for any one of them, email support@pixelvoidgames.com and we will tell you.
How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for:
- Analytics and crash data — typically up to 14 months in identifiable form, then aggregated or deleted.
- Support correspondence — up to 24 months after the matter is closed.
- Purchase and tax records — as long as required by law, generally six years.
- Content you create in an app — stored on your device and deleted when you delete it or uninstall the app.
Children's privacy
Some of our apps appeal to younger players, and we take that seriously.
None of our apps is enrolled in the App Store Kids Category or in Google Play's Designed for Families programme, and none is directed to children. They are general-audience apps.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the age at which consent is required in their country (13 in the UK and the United States; between 13 and 16 in EU member states).
- Our apps do not require an account, do not ask for a real name, and do not include user-to-user messaging or social features that would let a child share personal information with strangers.
- Where an app is directed to children, we do not permit behavioural advertising or tracking in it.
- In-app purchases are protected by the platform's own parental controls. We strongly recommend parents enable Screen Time (iOS) or Parental Controls (Google Play) and require a password for every purchase.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, email support@pixelvoidgames.com and we will delete it promptly.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or the EEA, you have the right to:
- be informed about how we use your data — that is what this document is for;
- request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access);
- have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
- have your data deleted (erasure);
- restrict or object to our processing, including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these, email support@pixelvoidgames.com. We will respond within one month. Because our apps do not require an account, we may need you to provide the advertising or installation identifier from your device in order to locate any data associated with you — the alternative would be collecting more information about you than we otherwise hold.
If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or to your local EEA supervisory authority.
California and other US state rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
We do not sell personal information as that term is defined by the CCPA. To exercise any right, email support@pixelvoidgames.com. Residents of other US states with comparable privacy laws have equivalent rights and can use the same address.
Security
We use HTTPS everywhere on this website, keep third-party dependencies current, and limit internal access to data on a need-to-know basis. Content you create in our apps stays on your device by default, which removes a whole category of risk.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in one of our apps or on this site, please email support@pixelvoidgames.com with the details and we will investigate. We are grateful for responsible disclosure and will not pursue action against good-faith security research.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give prominent notice in the affected app before it takes effect.
